A technician is normally not required. The gateway connects to the Rogers mobile network. Setup generally involves installing the SIM if required, powering on the gateway and placing it where it receives a suitable signal.

Keep the gateway visible, upright and elevated on a shelf or table close to a window. Avoid closets, metal surfaces, dense concrete walls and other obstructions.

On the Essentials and 600 GB plans, data continues at reduced speeds after the included plan-speed amount is reached. The Ultimate plan includes unlimited data at plan speeds, subject to the applicable service terms.

Existing Netflix and Apple TV accounts can generally be linked to preserve profiles and preferences. Disney+ account handling depends on the existing plan. Activation instructions are supplied after subscription.
