Clear terms for a straightforward install.
These terms cover the Get Internet Starlink website, Client Portal, bookings and related services. Installation-specific scope, scheduling and workmanship terms are set out in the Installation Policy.
Terms of Use
Last updated: August 21, 2026 · Policy version 2026-08-21-v2.69.4
Business and scope
These terms apply to services provided by Get Internet ("Get Internet", "we", "us"). Get Internet provides professional installation, service-call and related on-site services for Starlink systems. Starlink is a trademark of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Starlink internet service, network availability, subscription terms, network performance and customer-purchased Starlink hardware are controlled by their applicable provider or seller, not by Get Internet.
Website information and third-party information
We aim to keep installation information, retailer links, reference prices, hardware-model information and service-area information current. Starlink information, third-party inventory and third-party pricing can change without notice. The applicable provider or retailer is the source of truth for its current service, product availability, price, return policy and warranty.
Property Check and service area
The Property Check is a preliminary qualification for Get Internet installation/service availability. It is not a Starlink network-eligibility determination. Service-area results are based on active technician zones and qualifying technician availability and may change as staffing and scheduling change. An automated result does not guarantee that a particular mounting location is structurally suitable, safe, unobstructed or technically practical; the technician makes the final on-site assessment.
Client Portal and account security
Portal access is intended for the applicable customer. You are responsible for keeping your password and account access private, using accurate contact and service-address information, and notifying Get Internet if you believe the account has been accessed without authorization. We may revoke sessions or require a new sign-in after security-sensitive changes such as a password or account email change.
Electronic agreement records
When you accept installation terms in the Client Portal, the system records the policy version, acceptance timestamp, service and pricing snapshot, and cryptographic hashes of the accepted Terms and Installation Policy. A copy is sent to the account email and remains available for download in the Client Portal while the record is retained. The version recorded at acceptance governs that accepted transaction unless you and Get Internet later agree to a change.
Pricing, HST and payment
Customer-facing Get Internet charges are displayed before payment and include the applicable subtotal, tax and total. For Ontario work, Get Internet charges are subject to 13% HST. The basic Starlink service call is $149.99 + HST ($169.49 total) and includes up to one hour of technician labour. Additional approved labour, parts, accessories or enhanced work are separate.
Online card payments, when enabled, are processed by the linked payment provider. Get Internet does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in this WordPress plugin. A charge is not treated as paid merely because a customer clicked an external payment link; the payment status used by the workflow must be confirmed through the applicable payment/admin process.
Appointments
Available booking windows are determined by technician availability, service area, technician skills, job duration and routing rules. Booking prerequisites shown in the Client Portal must be satisfied before a customer can reserve an appointment. Arrival windows are estimates rather than guaranteed exact arrival times. Cancellation, rescheduling, unsafe-site and weather rules are described in the Installation Policy.
Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate service-location and contact information, having the required customer-supplied equipment available, ensuring an adult with authority to approve the work is present, providing safe and reasonable access to the work area, and disclosing known site conditions that may affect safety or scope. Before paying or booking a new installation, you are also responsible for checking the intended installation area with the Starlink app's Check for Obstructions tool. Customers are not required to climb roofs or ladders for Get Internet. If a technician attends and installation cannot proceed because no suitable line of sight is reasonably available or the site was not reasonably ready, the Installation Policy discloses and governs the $75 non-refundable call-out amount retained from the prepaid installation payment.
If a Get Internet refund is approved and processed, allow 2–5 business days for the funds to return to the original payment method. Processing time can vary slightly by financial institution.
Changes to a booked service address
A booked appointment is associated with the service address recorded when it was booked. A material address/location change can affect technician territory, travel and availability and therefore may require the existing appointment to be cancelled and requalified/rebooked rather than silently moved.
Workmanship warranty
The 30-day workmanship warranty described in the Installation Policy applies to Get Internet installation workmanship. It does not replace Starlink, manufacturer or retailer warranties and does not make Get Internet responsible for Starlink network/service performance or third-party equipment failures.
Liability and consumer rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Get Internet is not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential losses caused by Starlink network/service outages, third-party products/services, customer-supplied equipment failures, customer alterations, undisclosed site conditions or events outside Get Internet's reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right, remedy or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer-protection rights.
Suspension or refusal of unsafe work
Get Internet may pause, refuse or reschedule work where the technician reasonably considers the site, weather, structure, access, electrical/environmental condition or requested method unsafe or outside the agreed scope. The resulting payment/rescheduling treatment is governed by the Installation Policy and applicable law.
Privacy and communications
Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Transactional/service communications are separate from optional marketing. Marketing consent may be withdrawn without cancelling the underlying installation or service relationship.
Changes to these terms
We may update these website terms prospectively as the service changes. Posting a new version does not retroactively replace the version captured in an already accepted installation agreement unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires it.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. Questions can be sent to info@get-internet.ca.
