Get Internet provides professional on-site service for existing Starlink installations when the system has obstruction, mounting, cabling, router, Wi-Fi or installation-related concerns. We assess the property, explain the likely cause and identify the practical next step.
Not every slow or offline connection is caused by the same thing. The technician considers the physical installation, Starlink equipment condition and the customer’s local network before recommending additional paid work.
Review the current mounting position, new tree growth, seasonal foliage, roofline interference, nearby construction and other changes that may affect the required view of the sky.
Inspect accessible mounting stability, visible cabling, connectors, weather sealing and installation conditions that may need correction or a different mounting solution.
Review router placement, dead zones, mesh coverage, local-network limitations and whether the internet connection is reaching the areas where the customer actually uses it.
The basic service call is $149.99 + HST and is intended for on-site diagnosis and practical corrective work that can reasonably be completed within the included time and available scope.
Replacement equipment, accessories, specialty mounting hardware, extended cable work, additional labour, mesh/network equipment and other enhanced work are separate when required.
Starlink account, subscription, network-status and manufacturer-warranty matters may need to be handled directly with Starlink or the applicable retailer. Get Internet does not control the Starlink network or internally repair sealed provider hardware.
See how Get Internet pricing is structured →A clear description helps the office determine whether the issue appears installation-related, equipment-related, account-related or primarily inside the local Wi-Fi network.
Note whether the system is completely offline, intermittent, slow only in certain rooms, affected at certain times, or showing a specific message in the Starlink app.
Provide the Starlink kit generation or model if known, who originally installed it, and whether anything at the property changed before the problem began.
Use the official app from a safe position and note new vegetation or construction. Do not climb onto a roof or ladder to gather information.
Open the obstruction-check guide →Service eligibility depends on the exact property and active technician capacity. Include the address, preferred contact details and a concise description of the concern.
The technician starts with the current condition rather than assuming the solution. Depending on the issue, the visit may include app review, accessible connection checks, obstruction assessment, mount/cable inspection and local Wi-Fi testing.
If the technician identifies a separate part, accessory, mount or additional labour requirement, the scope and price are presented before that additional paid work proceeds.
The original installation does not need to have been completed by Get Internet. We can assess the current system and provide a new service path, subject to technician coverage, safety and the condition of the customer’s equipment.
Any correction of another installer’s work is treated as new chargeable service and does not become part of Get Internet’s historical workmanship warranty.
These answers help separate an on-site service issue from a Starlink account, network or equipment-warranty issue.
Yes, Get Internet can assess an existing system installed by the customer or another provider. The visit is a new service call and any corrective work is quoted under the current service terms.
No. The basic rate covers up to one hour of technician labour. Replacement provider equipment, accessories, mounts, cable, network equipment and additional work are separate when required.
Get Internet can help identify whether the symptom appears to be on site, but Starlink account access, subscription changes, network outages and provider warranty decisions must be handled through Starlink’s applicable support process.
The technician can review router placement and coverage conditions. Mesh or other network improvements may be recommended as separate products or services when the Starlink internet connection itself is working.
No. Safety takes priority. Unsafe roof, ladder, structural or weather conditions may limit the inspection or require elevated work to be rescheduled.
Email the service address, contact information, kit model if known and a short description of the issue. Get Internet will review the request, create the applicable customer workflow and provide secure payment and booking steps when approved.
Send the service address, Starlink kit model if known and a concise description of the issue. We’ll confirm the current service path and technician coverage.
